Overview

Finca San Luis LLC is an artisan butcher shop in Río Grande, Puerto Rico, offering local meats, fish, seafood, and prepared products. They needed a clear digital presence to showcase their catalog and make ordering or quoting easy.

I built a one-page Astro landing focused on local conversion: category-based catalog, free metro-area delivery messaging, and direct CTAs to call, WhatsApp, and a contact form.

Challenge

The business runs on variable availability and direct-contact sales. Without a structured site, visitors cannot quickly see what they sell, where they deliver, or how to order.

We had to communicate artisan trust, organize a broad catalog (meats, seafood, prepared foods), and drive action without a full e-commerce build.

Approach

I prioritized clear commercial information, local SEO, and a low-friction contact flow:

  • One-page landing with anchors (#productos, #servicio-entrega, #nosotros, #contacto) and call/WhatsApp CTAs.
  • Catalog architecture in tabs: local meats, fish and seafood, prepared products.
  • Schema.org Butcher + product ItemList + FAQPage for local SEO and rich results.
  • Smooth scrolling with Lenis and optimized assets for a clean mobile experience.
  • Commercial conversion path: phone, wa.me, delivery quote, and contact form.

Solution

  • Hero with a local value prop ('Local meats in Puerto Rico') and CTAs to products and contact.
  • Visual catalog with 12 items grouped (beef, goat, pork, rabbit, fish, seafood, and prepared foods).
  • Delivery section highlighting free metro-area service and quotes for other PR zones.
  • About block plus benefits (quality, variety, delivery, personalized support).
  • Contact area with Río Grande location, hours, phone, email, WhatsApp, and form.

Results

  • Indexable presence with Butcher schema and structured inventory ready for local discovery.
  • Understandable catalog without e-commerce: visitors grasp the offer and contact in seconds.
  • Unified conversion channel: call, WhatsApp, quote, and form in one flow.
  • Clear value proposition: local meats + metro delivery + personalized service.
  • Foundation ready for directories (InfoPáginas/Google) and local acquisition campaigns.

Learnings

  • For butcher/delivery businesses, availability + delivery zone + contact CTA matter more than a cart.
  • Grouping the catalog by categories reduces friction when stock is not fixed online.
  • Butcher + ItemList + FAQ schema strengthens local intent better than generic meta tags alone.
