Caribe Media.

Overview
Caribe Media is one of the digital advertising agencies with the longest track record in the Dominican Republic: 60+ years, Google Partner Premier, and a catalog that spans Google Ads, social, web development, and in-house tools. The previous site no longer matched that brand weight or the real breadth of services.
From November 2025 to January 2026 I led the redesign of caribemedia.com.do with a clear goal: raise the agency’s online presence through a modern, navigable, high-performance experience — without losing the authority the business already has in the market.
Challenge
The catalog is wide: Search, Display, YouTube, Performance Max, Meta, TikTok, websites, e-commerce, booking, directories, and production. On a weakly structured site that richness becomes noise: visitors neither understand what the agency does nor where to start.
The challenge was a coherent visual hierarchy and an information architecture that groups services, proves results (metrics, brands, Partner Premier), and converts to a consultation. while keeping load time and SEO strong on a high-traffic corporate domain.

Approach
I prioritized navigation clarity, performance, and a system the team could keep evolving:
- New information architecture: Google Ads, Social, Website Solutions, and Other, with sub-services visible in navigation.
- Homepage visual hierarchy: value proposition, social proof, metrics, and service blocks that lead to a concrete action.
- High-performance stack with Astro and React islands for static HTML, selective hydration, and solid SEO.
- Responsive UI with Tailwind CSS and Motion micro-interactions for engagement without hurting load.
- Collaboration with infrastructure: repositories, deploy flow, and a clean production release.
Solution
The live site organizes the agency’s offer and builds credibility from the first scroll:
- Hero and value proposition aligned to digital advertising in the Dominican Republic, with CTAs to services and consultation.
- Navigation by product families (Search, Display, YouTube, PMax, Social, Web, directories) instead of a flat list.
- Social proof with recognizable brands and verifiable metrics: profiles, advertisers, campaigns, and websites shipped.
- Google Partner Premier treated as a local differentiator, not a decorative badge.
- Conversion modules: consultation, WhatsApp, phone, and Caribe Metrics as a first-party reporting product.
- Cookie consent and a complete corporate footer with services, legal, and contact.
Results
- The agency’s offer is browsed by clear categories, not a crowded menu.
- The site communicates authority (60+ years, Partner Premier, metrics) while still inviting a consultation.
- Decoupled architecture with Astro and React: a faster, more maintainable base than a traditional monolithic CMS.
- Consistent responsive design and restrained motion, built for engagement without hurting performance.
- Production deploy coordinated with infrastructure, ready to iterate on services and campaigns.
Tech stack
Learnings
- In an agency with many products, information architecture is the design: if the menu fails, nothing else gets read.
- Astro + React islands fits corporate sites that need SEO and motion without hydrating the whole page.
- Metrics and certifications work as proof, not decoration, when they have hierarchy and context.
- An in-house redesign has to align frontend and infrastructure: deploy is part of the product experience.
